International break for who?

Club over country may seem a typical Liverpool fan response but having spoken to fans across lots of leagues this appears to be a lot of peoples views. I'm going to post on TikTok a suggestion but Cally creatives can read ahead Play the league and cup finals with no breaks meaning the season would conclude slightly earlier and the day after the Champions League is done International managers select their summer squads. This was less players have that 'already on the beach' mentality and the squad selection is representative of a full season. The spring holds a few friendlies followed by qualifying games one year and the competition the next year. Players return in July for a 4-6 week break. Obviously this doesn't allow for chops and changes to the squad which I think is a better situation and although they wouldn't train through the year I don't believe players develop significantly from these sessions anyway. Would happily hear some thoughts. What a start for Liverpool so far this season, shame we won't see them for a week n a half isn't it?
